gail@more than a song, Tuesday, January 22, 2008 10:26:00 AM: I went to a wedding last month that my daughter was in....all of the music was Nickel Creek music and it was hands down the BEST music at a wedding I've ever heard! I'm still sorta floating by it all....I'm not that familiar with them, only semi b/c some of my kids like them. The bride had a guitarist, someone on mandolin, a bass player and a violinist. When the bride/groom turned to go up the aisle afterwards, the quartet broke out into some rousing number by Nickel Creek and everyone in audience & the attendants were having trouble keeping still! When everyone had been escorted out, the audience broke out into applause and the minister said he thought it was the first time he'd ever seen a standing ovation for the musicians! I've got to get some of their music I do believe!
