the one in which she has no real opinions to share but it was worth it

all i can tell you about yesterday's game is that Matsuzaka seems to struggle a little bit with his first trip through the batting order, and then... POW. supposedly has seven pitches to choose from. the one that looks the coolest, especially from a camera angle that faces home plate, is the screwball.

oh yeah. i can also tell you that the Sox won.

other than that? useless with my commentary on the game. my eyes glazed over when then interviewed Mike Lowell. before i could recover, they followed that with some Tek time. i could have been beaned with a runaway Wakefield knuckler at that point & wouldn't have cared.
::happy sigh::

Not sure why the sound on my computer wasn't working during the feed....couldn't play music or video or anything. Had to restart it to get it to work today. So I only got to "watch" the interviews.

even watching would have been a treat for me. ;-) my feed worked just fine though, luckily. i always forget that Tek's voice never sounds like it should be coming out of the guy you see. he's so soft spoken. he had a lot to say about Matsuzaka & all the pitches he has available to him. Lowell is *funny* though. OMG he made me laugh. i'm so used to just seeing him -- though seeing him at 3B is worth it, just to watch the way he plays the hot corner -- that when they started asking him questions, i was surprised when he got all animated. they were questioning him about the gyroball (says he doesn't even know what that is, but he knows that whatever it supposedly is, he usually gets to field it on a two-hopper) & then he said that he thinks Tek is running out of hands to flash the signs to Matsuzaka with all those pitches he has and all he sees are fingers & hands flying. i am so not doing it justice, but he is a really fun interview.
