saw this floating around a long time ago... thought i would finally play along. just because.

RED
1. Closest red thing to you: the box containing the entire series of Friends dvds
2. Last thing to make you angry: fate
3. Do you have a temper: not really. i have a long fuse.
4. Are you a fan of romance: i wouldn't really know...

ORANGE
1. Closest orange thing to you: the cover of the little notebook i keep handy for quickly scribbling down quotes from my favorite tv shows. (what? you didn't think i composed all those blog posts from memory, did you?)
2. Do you like to burn things: i like to burn candles.
3. Dress up for Halloween: not since i was a kid
4. Are you usually a warm-hearted person: for the right people i am. time & experience have closed a lot of that off & i tend to be distanced from people i don't really know.
5. Do you have anything against redheaded people: not specifically.
6. Are you usually full of energy: i have energy, but i don't move extremely quickly much of the time. i try to keep my movements fluid, not so quick that i miss the little details. i think we're often in far too much of a hurry. that being said, i can move when i need to.

YELLOW
1.Closest yellow thing: there's actually not a single yellow thing in sight... oh! it's the little AIM logo on my taskbar! it was literally right in front of me the whole time!
2. The happiest time[s] of your life: California. a very special & memorable day spent at WDW. holding my god daughter for the first time. time spent snuggling.
3. Favorite holiday: i always have a such a hard time picking between Thanksgiving, Christmas & Easter. i love them all.
4. Are you a coward: sometimes... although maybe it's just insecurity.
5. Do you burn or tan: i would burn if i actually spent time in the sun without sunscreen.

GREEN
1. Closest green thing to you: the cup holding my water
2. Do you care about the environment: of course i do
3. Are you jealous of anyone right now: i am not sure that jealous is the word i would use...
4. Are you a lucky person: ummmm... i have many blessings. i should be more thankful for them.
5. Do you always want what you can’t have: ::sigh:: i want very few things. i don't usually get them. but i deal.
6. Do you like being outdoors: i do. unless it's rainy or frigid or excessively humid.
7. Are you Irish: not even the tiniest bit.

BLUE
1. Closest blue thing to you: the place mat on the island next to me.
2. Are you good at calming people down: i like to think that i am.
3. Do you like the sea: i think that the ocean is beautiful...
4. What was the last thing that made you cry: i'm going to just flat out say that i don't want to talk about it.
5. Are you a logical thinker: i think & understand in emotions. there is rarely any logic when it comes to emotion. but i am capable of logical thinking when it is required.

PURPLE
1. Closest purple thing to you: there are two literally the same distance away, on my desk: i have a purple can of compressed air sitting on top of a book with a purple cover -- it's a happy bunny book: "Life. Get one."
2. Like being treated to expensive things: i can appreciate it but i don't *need* it. i am a very low maintenance girl.
3. Do you like mysterious things: ::small smile:: i've been told that *i* am mysterious.
4. Favorite type of chocolate: See's. no contest.

PINK
1. Closest pink thing to you: that would be the pink nightie that i am wearing -- and that is just about way too much information, i think. =P
2. Do you like sweet things: sweet things to eat. sweet expressions of love. sweet little babies. sweet little puppies & kitties. sweet kisses...
3. Like play-fighting: nah. i'm more of a gentle soul. i hate to see someone treated in a rough physical manner. it upsets me.
4. Are you sensitive: definitely. maybe even too much so.
5. Do you like music: i *love* music.

WHITE
1. Closest white thing to you: the steno notebook with my personal budget in it
2. Would you say you’re innocent: naive at times, but most of my innocence is gone now...
3. Good at keeping the peace: very much. i hate conflict & seeing people hurt...
4. Do you like to play in the snow: yes but only for a little while & then i want to go in & get warm. i haven't played in the snow in forever though.
5. Are you afraid of going to the doctor or dentist: not afraid of the doctor, though it's not on my list of favorite things to do. i *hate* the dentist. i had a really bad one when i was in my teens & early twenties & now when i go, it makes me very tense.

BLACK
1. Closest black thing to you: all the pieces of my computer
2. Ever enjoy hurting people: i *hate* to hurt people. it kills me to see someone i love hurting...
3. Are you sophisticated or silly: ::snort:: sophisticated. right. i guess i am more silly than sophisticated, but i'm mostly just... me.
4. Would you like to go to space: no way! i am perfectly happy here on earth. ok, maybe not *perfectly* happy, but i am content to stay on it anyway.
5. What is your favorite color: navy blue & a deep rich red
6. Does the color you wear affect your mood: i don't think so. if it does, i've never noticed before.
