*now* it feels like Spring!

ahhhh... baseball everywhere. happiness.

and because i want to be happy, i am not talking about what happened in the Red Sox game today. =P tomorrow is an off day & i hope they come back on Wednesday in such a way that today looks like it was a belated April Fools Day prank. because so far (all one game into the season, lol!) the only fool has been Boston, who apparently still can't beat the Royals. which makes me worry about the Rays. at least Lugo didn't make any errors today. he decided to strike out *three* times instead. =P

**i am totally loving the new GameDay stat tracker on MLB.com. so cool. very improved over last year.

**my boy, Trot, looked so good in today's Indians game. nothing makes me happier than to see him do well. i hope he makes the Red Sox rue the day they let him walk away without so much as a half-hearted offer (that i bet he would have accepted to stay at Fenway). three-for-four, plus a walk. scored three runs. i hope he keeps it up all year.

**finally, the prayers of Sox fans are answered. the new Twins field will *not* be another dome. not even with a retractable roof. the players are all worried about being cold in April, but at least we won't have to worry that Papi will hit a moonshot that will hit the three inches of space on a beam that is considered to be foul. have mentioned how much i loathe domes?
