tee hee

i decided to watch the Week 16 Patriots-Jaguars game i had recorded while i was away for Christmas, even though i already knew the outcome. not only did it put my mind somewhat at ease, seeing the way the team has *finally* started to come together, but had i decided not to watch it, i would have missed this little gem, uttered by either Greg Gumbel or Dan Dierdorf. (sorry. i can't listen to football announcer closely enough to recognize most of them by voice. if i did, i would have been locked in a padded room a long time ago.)

"As evidenced in the last few weeks, if you're going to be reborn as a running back, you're going to do it against the Indianapolis Colts."

::snort:: any team who faces Peyton & his ::coughcough::undefeatable::coughcough:: Colts & doesn't just run the ball right down their throats as often & as mercilessly as possible has a fool for a head coach. (note to Bill Belichick: please don't make me eat these words like you did when you faced Indy in the regular season, should the Colts & Patriots be so lucky as to make it far enough that they might face each other again in post season play. i have two words for you: Dillon. Maroney. the Colts should spend that potential game sucking in the vapor trail of New Engalnd running backs loping toward the end zone in sick repitition.)

and on a different note, i leave you with this photo from the Titans-Patriots game this week. why, you ask? i just couldn't resist posting a photo of someone named Pacman Jones. plus, i haven't seen someone look this ridiculous running since that episode of Friends when Phoebe gpes jogging. =P
