when a $20 bill that looks like this is put up for auction:
apparently, someone wasn't paying attention when this happened...and now the bill has been auctioned off for some big money. it was never clarified whether it had been done by accident or as a joke. the Treasury's response was "we have no idea how this could have happened..."
hmmmmm...i think i'll bank that excuse for the next time *I* make an error at work...the blank stare, the look of bewilderment..."i have no idea how this could have happened..." but hang onto the error, maybe you can sell it at auction for an exhorbitant amount of money. =P

Well, whoever the moron was that paid 23k for that is exactly that -a moron - apparently they have way too much money on their hands and no knowledge of what to do with it...hello -there are starving people in our own country, what about the homeless...need I go on! Geesh!!
