clutch & performance

when it all comes down to the wire. when it's late in the game & we need some guys to cross home plate in a bad way. no matter what the slump or the funk or the frustration of late. there is David Ortiz. one big solid wall of power. i hope that 3RBI double shook the demons from your bat Big Papi. it was good to see you clear the loaded bases again.

and how about Youk with 2 homers in as many games? YOUK!

and Lowell. man i love him at third base. a diving sliding heart&soul catch to start the game. 3 for 4 on offense. and the doubles! i wish they would move him up in the batting order so they wouldn't keep going to waste with hit-or-mostly-miss Pena and automatic-out Gonzales following on his heels. maybe they could switch him around with Loretta or something, put that on-base presence to use with the heart of the order following him, maybe drive in Youk who does a pretty fine job of getting himself on too...*shrug* just my 2 cents on the matter.

and if you watched last night's game on NESN all i can say is...omg! Remy & the accordian. could. not. stop. laughing.

I was wondering what Don was laughing at so hard that he couldn't talk. And then they showed the accordian. I literally almost peed my pants. I espcially like it when they find guys in the crowd wearing crazy shirts/hats and make fun of them. Like the dude wearing the sombrero!

Love extra innings!!!!!

it wouldn't be half as fun with out Don and Remy...

But Wily Mo...I think he's catching on, he's batting over .300, and he's actually making plays out there in CF now.

Gonzales, though...ergh. And Reteria's hitting streak is up to what, 22 games?

Yep, another great shortstop... gone. Was that another brilliant move made in Theo's abscence? oy vey
