Monday Music Mambo - Week 92

Hello mamboers! Spring is finally here, but it doesn't really feel like it yet. I'll make this week's mambo fairly simple. All you have to do is give me some songs, artists, or albums that remind you of or use the following words:

Birds: "Snowbird", Anne Murray
Flowers: "She Don't Tell Me To", Montgomery Gentry -- "Every now & then on my way home I stop at a spot where the wildflowers grow & I pick a few..."
Sun: "A Place in the Sun", Tim McGraw
Rain: "Songs About Rain", Gary Allan
Party (in honor of spring break): "Here for the Party", Gretchen Wilson (i *hate* this song lol)
Change: "She Couldn't Change Me", Montgomery Gentry

Wednesday Mind Hump - Tuesday March 28

Hello humpers! Today's mind hump isn't very exciting, but it's good for you so you have to do it whether you like it or not. Today, you see, is Finish Your Veggies day. So take that look off your face and answer the following, or no dessert!

1. What is your favorite veggie? broccoli (i should have said peas just to gross Heather out LOL!)

2. Are there any veggies you don't eat? brussel sprouts. any sort of winter squash. sweet potatoes. lima beans. turnips.

3. Which veggie do you think has the funniest name? broccolini

4. If you're a vegetarian, why are you and do you like it? If you're not a vegetarian, would you ever want to become one? i am not. i love my veggies but i need to have my meats & dairies too. i like too many foods to give them up.

Monday Music Mambo - Week 93

Happy April, mamboers! Today is American Circus Day, but didn't we already do a circus-themed meme? So today, I'm going to do something a bit different.

Take your computer media player, iPod, mp3 player, whatever you got, put it on random, and tell me the first five songs it plays. If you have a CD player, grab a CD and put it on random and tell me the first five songs.

That's it! That's all I'm going to make you do this week.

1. "Rainy Day in June", Alan Jackson
2. "She's from Boston", Kenny Chesney
3. "Your Body is a Wonderland", John Mayer
4. "Kind & Generous", Natalie Merchant
5. "I'm a Believer", Smashmouth

Wednesday Mind Hump

Hey humpers! How's it going? I'm back with some more questions for you to do on hump day. Today's theme is Lady Luck Day. I'm feeling lucky, so let's get started!

1. What's the luckiest thing that's ever happened to you? never played roulette in my life. was at a casino in CT. watched for a while. put all my money (well not ALL of it lol but all the money i had come with & was ok with losing for the sake of an evening out) on one square. and won. cashed out. done. beginner's luck & i was keeping it. casinos hate people like me, i think.

2. Is there something that you just cannot seem to have luck with? timing

3. Do you do any gambling? If so, what kind? not as a rule. sometimes i will get a lotto ticket. once in a *great* while, i will go to a casino. but mostly i would like to hang onto my money until i get something i can show for having spent it.

4. Let's see how lucky you really are. Pick a number between one and twelve (1 and 12). If you guess the lucky number, you get an extra special comment on your blog! 8
