while i would of course much rather the Red Sox win, at least the Yankees lost yesterday too. so if we have to be 1-1 so be it...and when you look at the standings, Boston is listed before NY. heh.
in other sporting news, i am very impressed with DEJr this year! nice & consistent, solid at 6th in the standings, 6 races down, 3 top 10 finishes (one at 3rd & one at 4th!), 2 more finished at 11th. his team is working more as a single unit & they aren't giving up just because there's a little mishap. he worked his way back from TWO crashes on Sunday to capture a 4th place finish right before the race ended. GO #8!

#49 is what he is... sometimes that knuckleball is ON, sometimes it's OFF. Last night it was OFF. It also didn't help that Bard was trying to catch it by leaving his mitt up, which even Rem Dawg was perplexed about. I think that was making Wake leave the knuckleball up in the zone, giving up a lot of hits.
