1. a holiday for most everyone else means a light morning commute for me!
2. our fishtank at work. i realized today how many times i zone out for a moment or two during the day, just staring at it or listening to it gurgle, to clear my mind & refocus.
3. a work project that makes the morning fly by.
4. reports that Mike Lowell is in camp for Spring Training! which means new photographic evidence to enjoy soon... ;-)
5. when my mashed potatoes come out *perfectly*.

Love your blog, and not just because you're a fellow native New Englander and Sox fan. It's a great reminder to embrace the small things that make us happy. So many blogs are filled with bitterness and rage, and yours is definitely a breath of fresh air.
