sometimes all you can do is laugh
the only thing worth remembering about last night's game is Sean Casey stumbling as he led off second base, crawling back to the bag on his hands & knees, and calling himself safe. then sitting on second base, laughing.
and of course i can't find a photo of it *anywhere*.
have i mentioned that i really like Sean Casey?
(and also, enough broken infielders. why can't it be the *one* i wish would take an extended DL vacation??)
7 with their own thoughts:
Due to a blossoming Mario Party/Wii addiction, I missed a lot of the game.
I tuned in just in time to see the Sox grab the lead in the fifth and then watch the steady downward spiral.
Wakefield's ERA vs. the MFY? Something like 47.00. oof.
Jenny: Wakey didn't pitch last night. Clay started. I am afraid to know what *his* ERA against the EE is now.
Believe it or not, Clay's career ERA against the MFY is 6.5. He did not face them until this year, and only gave up 1 run in 6 innings last time, compared to 7 runs in 3.2 innings this time (ouch).
Lugo did get hurt late in spring training (back strain). Lucky for you he bounced back in time for the regular season ;)
Dawn, Casey crawling back and signalling safe, then Youk running out after the inning ended to "brush" him off was CLASSIC!
I met Sean Casey in real life once, no joke! He was at a fundraiser that my company made me go to. He was cool.
HI! Just wanted to say you've been tagged. ..
I love watching him jabber away to anyone that will listen. I can't help but like that guy.
