i take my eyes off the screen for one weekend...

...and the freaking Yankees have closed our lead to single digits?? WTH. >=[

saw bits & pieces of Friday's loss. saw none of Saturday's win. was so exhausted from Saturday that i only half-watched yesterday's loss while i dozed.

i do have this to say about Sunday's game though, from what little i saw:
we lost 2-1. normally, one would assume it was Wakefield or Matsuzaka, or even Julian, with a final score like that. one would be wrong. it was Joshy. Joshy of the huge run support. much as i do like Joshy, i can't help but to feel vindicated just a little for Wakey that finally someone else got shown the cold shoulder from the bats. although to be fair, yesterday's lack of runs had nothing to do with quiet bats. Sox got eleven hits yesterday & then just played the stranding game. yeah, i didn't miss that throwback from last season. =P

hopefully they show a little love for Gabbard tonight.
