They're saying the same thing here. I had the morning news on and the weather guy said "Hey, it's ONLY going to be 89 today!" Then they talked about breaking our streak of consecutive days in the 90's (12 or 13, I think it was). Yeah right, I bet it gets to 90 after all! :)
But 90 is a LOT better than 97 or 98 :)
I am so grateful for the 'only 90' weather right now! There is a BIG difference between 90 and 95 as far as I am concerned. I can stand to be in my skin at 90, but at 95 I feel like I am cooking.
Yuck, yuck, yuck! We've had a "heatwave" here of like 3 days in the 90's...that's MORE than enough for me! LOL
We've had FL temps here lately. It ONLY got to 100 yesterday! The dew point has been horrendous! Back to the 80's today....brrrrr!
This is why I'll never live in Florida. lol. Our heat wave this week had me sapped and cranky.
Dawn, it's been 99 here the past 4 days.
Florida sounds nice.

Tara: You & me both. It made me laugh that we are all so excited for "only 90"! It was 97 here for a while but combined with 80+ percent humidity & YUCK.

Michelle: I would *kill* for 80. Heat + humidity = very sluggish Dawn.
Jeanne: I just hibernate like you guys do all Winter. Except I run a/c instead of heat & I don't have to shovel my way out when I need to go somewhere. LOL!
Ted: Ok, you win. I don't think we've gotten over 97 yet. But it was 94-97 for 3 straight weeks here.
