the waiting game

everybody said i was over reacting. everybody said it was just a lot of rain & not much wind. everybody said it was just a tropical storm. i need to listen to my gut! something told me that this one was going to be more than just a bit of wind-whipped rain...Category 1 hurricane leaving 1.3 million people without power & 4 confirmed dead. i say you have to keep a watchful eye because the unpredictability of these storms means you aren't safe till it's past. sometimes not even then when they decide to reorganize & circle back around for another try. it's a waiting game. you wait to see what the storm will do & then you wait for your friends to check back in from the areas hit & give the all clear that they came through the other side of it.

and so now i wait...
