getting to meet Michelle! and my whole vacation in California, crammed full of happy memories.

Who has more fun during summer: A child or an adult? And why?
as a child. summer as an adult is no different from any other time. you still have to go to work, pay the bills, cook the dinner, do the housework. just further proof that youth is wasted on the young. or something to that effect.

Where were you 6 years ago? Explain:
living in Connecticut, working in the office of a car dealership, just meeting my friend Alison, and developing my OCD need for cleanliness thanks to a roommate who was gross to epic proportions. in relation to September 11 though, i was at work. my boss had just called in to say she would be late but was on her way -- and to turn on the tv in the service lounge because a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. i flipped it on just in time to see the second plane hit.
What two major emotions do recall feeling?
stunned. numb.
Who were the first two people you called that day?
i honestly can't remember.
What two words best describes that day for you?
surreal. sobering.
What two major changes in your life has occurred since that day?
i certainly don't feel quite as safe as i used to. and i actually appreciate the measures taken by airport security, so i get annoyed when others complain about having to wait in line & be inconvenienced . wouldn't it be a bigger "inconvenience" to have evil people bringing dangerous items onto the plane?

watch Matsuzaka pitch for the Red Sox. clean my bathroom. (ok, i am glad i did that last one, but i hate doing it & wish someone else would do it for me!)

still been on vacation. won the lottery.

LOL! do myself & I count as the other two? i didn't spend time with a single person.

be surprised. i *try* to surprise people, and then i slip & say something stupid that gives it away. =P i can keep secrets & not reveal sensitive information, but i cannot seem to plan a surprise that is successful these days.

be cheated on. no explanation necessary.

cook. if i don't, there's no one else to do it.

cry. i don't make other people cry.
