Grace in Small Things 91:365

1. when i got home yesterday, there was a note tucked in between the door & the frame of my apartment. that's where the management office always leaves us information. i thought for sure they were going to tell me i had to remove the little bird feeder i had outside my window, because i couldn't think of anything else they could possibly have found "wrong." much to my surprise when i opened it, it was a note from the owner. starting in June, he is decreasing our rent by $50 a month through the end of the year at which point we will go back to our current rate. and this is on rent that has not increased a cent since January 2009. let it be said that true generosity still exists.

3. employee lunch yesterday! with apple pie a la mode for dessert. yum.

4. tickets for both Friday *and* Saturday have been secured for next week's Sox-Rays series. whew.

5. it's almost Friday... i think i might make it to the weekend after all...
