Blue Christmas
One of T's traditions: One blue candle, lit day and night, in one of our front windows for the entire Christmas season. In memory of all police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

oh my heart... please tell him thank you. As a daughter of a 34yr veteran of the force, a niece of even more on and retired from the force... thank you. It makes me so happy when people think of our men in blue and the ones we have lost and the families they leave behind.
stripeycat: He is former law enforcement himself and lost a good friend, so it's a very personal thing for him, as well as a more "broad scale" memorial. =)
