100% Inspired by The Disney Food Blog!

Items at one time #OnTheList that were tried and thoroughly enjoyed!

Snacks #CheckedOffTheList

Vanilla-Pineapple Swirl Dole Whip| You used to be able to get the vanilla-pineapple swirl version at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom, but since it swapped locations with Sunshine Tree Terrace, they only offer the straight pineapple version. However, if you venture over to Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian, the swirl option is still available!
Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich| There are several places around WDW property where variations on the ice cream cookie sandwich can be found. My personal favorite is at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom. A soft chocolate chip cookie, stuffed with vanilla ice cream...mmmm!

Eats #CheckedOffTheList
Wok-Fried Green Beans| These are on the menu at the Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom, and I will be crushed if they ever take them off. That crispy outside, that warm green bean, that Thai chili dipping sauce. I cannot resist. In fact, I could probably make a meal out of these alone.

Restaurants #CheckedOffTheList
Biergarten| Biergarten is a buffet-style restaurant in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT. This is like eating at my Gram's house for me (something I can no longer do), so it's comfort foods and delicious salads and pretzel bread and the Bavarian Cheesecake for dessert. Heaven!

Special Things #CheckedOffTheList
Peanut Butter Sandwich| Sadly, no longer available at WDW, this amazing treat, about the size of my palm, was a cookie with a layer of peanut butter, dipped entirely in chocolate, and quite possibly one of my favorite WDW pleasures *ever*. I was devastated when it left WDW to make way for the "more trendy" (meh) S'mores Square Sandwich. BUT!! The Peanut Butter Sandwich can still be found at select locations in Disneyland, and when I get the chance to visit my parks' west coast older sister, you can be certain this is going to be on my "must do" list.
Food and Wine Fest| I have posts upon posts on this in my archive. Suffice to say, one of my favorite events at WDW, no matter how hot or crowded it gets!
Flower and Garden Fest| Taking a page from the Food and Wine Fest playbook, EPCOT's FGF has started offering foods during this springtime event as well. I love that the dishes are a bit lighter than FWF's offerings and more veggie/herb-centric. Totally appropriate for spring!
