things that drive me crazy

1. the sound of a fork or knife scraping against the plate. that sqeal sends a shiver right through my soul.
2. when your body is exhausted but you can't get your brain to shut off & the thoughts tumbling over one another keep you awake.
3. conversely, when your mind has had enough & needs to sleep but your body doesn't cooperate so you lay there, jittery & uncomfortable, praying for unconsciousness to take over.
4. when someone shuts a door but not all the way. how much extra effort does it take to push it that last 1/8" so it latches??
5. when someone takes out the garbage but doesn't put a new bag in the garbage can.
6. the lighting in walmart. instantly sucks your life-energy right out of you.
7. people who find a way to be miserable AT DISNEY WORLD. seriously folks. Happiest Place on Earth. repeat after me...
8. when 3 cars ride side-by-side across all 3 lanes of the highway at exactly the same travel speed--and always about 10mph lower than the posted speed limit. like they can't see the other cars piling up behind them or something.
9. people who insist on waiting until the very last second to pull out in front of you when they had plenty of time to do so, even though you are travelling at full speed, causing you to have no option but to jam on your brakes. and of course once they pull out they proceed to drive 3mph.
10. people who flip you the bird because you won't allow them to cut you off.
11. Tampa-area professional sports, sports casts, sports commentators, sports news coverage...see earlier entry on this.
12. commercials for Red Stripe beer. you may not be aware of this commercial of you never turn on ESPN as this is the only place i have ever seen it. if you've never been subjected to this experience be grateful. if you have, i need only say this: "Red Stripe. It's beer. Hooray beer." please shoot me.
