...Great record setting year for hurricane statitics with this being the earliest there has ever been 7 names storms.
...Tropical Storm Gert who poses no threat to the U.S.

...Giggling because Gert sounds like the name of someone's great aunt sporting hot pink lipstick with a tissue up her sleeve, not so much a destructive force of nature. it's hard to take something seriously when it's named "Gert" (no offense out there to anyone who is or loves a Gert!)--but couldn't they at least call the storm by Gertrude instead of a nickname...?
