yep you read me correctly. July 7th is Chocolate Day. as if there were any question that it deserves a holiday all it's very own...and you know that of course you are obligated to have some in honor of this very special day of celebration right? ;-)

a few chocolate facts for you (as borrowed from the July/August issue of Simple Scrapbooks):

**the Aztecs considered chocolate an aphrodisiac & forbade it to women (kinda glad we didn't adopt that ideology...)
**North Americans--including women--have been enjoying the treat for 250 years
**the average American eats 11.6 pounds of chocolate every year
