shifting perspective

when it rains off & on all night, but stops just about the time the sun starts to come up, and then sun peeks over the breaking clouds to shine down on the wet world, everything looks so freshly washed & refreshed, bathed in warm morning light. it's absolutely beautiful.

and then the sun glares off some standing water & nearly blinds you. =P

Dawn just wanted to wish you the merriest of Christmases. So glad I got to "meet" you! {{HUGS}}

Oh ... no kidding. I'd rather drive through a snow storm than drive into the sun after a hard rain.

Merry Christmas!

And THEN you crash your car into someone else's who crashes into someone ELSE'S on 6-91 first thing in the morning. Yep, did that a few years back. Stupid blinding sun. LOL

Rev Ref: Although sun on snow can certainly dazzle the eyes too. I recall some mornings, driving into work, after it would snow. The sun would be shining & you'd come around a corner where the sunlight would hit the snow just right & instant blindness!

April: Thank God I managed to avoid that! Scary!!

Mega: I still can't believe you wanted photos of this. ::shakes head:: Shouldn't you be concerned about me driving safely or something?! =P

LOL. That's better than one that happened to me: setting the table immaculately with freshly polished silver, only to step back to admire your work and inadvertently step into the exact spot necessary for one ray of sunlight to glance off a butter knife and into your right eye -- blinding you for the next 5 minutes. ;-)

Daniel: I am *still* laughing at that mental image.
