this little moment, the one when NESN caught Manny petting Julian in the dugout during the game, may be my all-time favorite comedic Sox moment of 2007.
You see a lot of strange things when the TV cameras point into the dugout. Pedro with a Yoda mask. Curt scribbling in his notebook. Tito picking his nose. Timlin performing light taxidermy.
But there's nothing I've ever seen that was quite as weird as Manny "massaging" Tavarez' dome during Sunday's game.
I mean, where they even aware that they were on television? Is this the sort of thing they just do whenever they find themselves seated next to each other on the bench?

Dawn, hands down the funniest, strangest thing I've ever seen two athletes do.
Coming in second was Gabe Kapler in '06 reading what looked like Gone with the Wind, but most likely was the other teams media guide.
It was *so* funny though, Ted! Add to that, Remy & Don's reaction, and I was crying, I was laughing so hard!
