dismay
of course the race was rain delayed until tomorrow & i was left with nothing but to watch in pain as Schilling collected his first loss for 2006. it's an exquisite form of torture to watch the Red Sox play these days. kinda like old times. but not any i was eager to revisit.
and now on top of everything else; on top of losing to the worst team in the AL East; on top of now being tied for first place with The Nemesis; on top of the next month's schedule consisting of 3 stints with the Yankees, 2 each with Baltimore & Toronto and another stand with the D'Rays; on top of tomorrow's home opener against NY being pitched by Wakefield (or more accurately, my issue is that it's being caught by Ward)...
on top of ALL THAT...
tomorrow i have to look at The Traitor (who i refuse to even link my blog to!) in pinstripes. with his sell-out haircut.
and no it won't matter if they are actually in road grays & not pinstripes.
3 with their own thoughts:
Ward, don't you think you were a bit hard on the beaver last night?
i KNEW i wasn't the only one who felt that way about these guys who claim individuality and then sign with the bombers and CUT THEIR HAIR.
drives me NUTS!
LOL Chele!
Sue: i am totally in agreement with you. i think it's the ultimate sell-out that he got a cut & a shave to play for The Evil Empire.
