this is not a mistake
things have been... eerily quiet around here regarding tonight's game, haven't they?
this is not a mistake.
i have not forgotten.
i am merely terrified.
that delicious terror that fills you with anticipation.
when it's do or die time.
when literally every.game.matters.
Commander Kick Ass vs AL ERA leader John Lackey.
::gulp::
so....
how 'bout them Patriots huh??
no. seriously. how *about* them!
i didn't blog about it but i watched Monday night.
it was like Brady was born to throw to Moss. the glee on his face about having that kind of receiver is something like a kid on Christmas morning.
and how can you not love Mike Vrabel.
as a side note: i think the other teams may want to consider watching some tape of the Patriots. it doesn't have to be illegal or anything. just... when you see Mike Vrabel making his way onto the field when the Patriots offense has the ball, someone maybe might wanna cover him. or not. just sayin'. what is he, like 7-for-7 on TD passes now?
anyway. the Patriots started off a little sluggish in the first quarter, but they quickly revved it up & have now gone 4-0, winning by more than twenty points in each game.
can you imagine what's going to happen when Rodney Harrison & Richard Seymour come back?
it makes me positively giddy.
3 with their own thoughts:
Dawn,
The Commander is looking sharp tonight, while Lackey is looking pretty shaky.
Glad the Pats are playing so well for you: I'm not paying attention to football until November. ;)
Hey Dawn,
Great game tonight!
4-0 !! Nice!!
Beckett was the Master and Commander tonight!!
Well well, look who is up 1-0!
