back in business!
after a quick celebration of their 2004 World Championship, there was kickoff...followed by a slow-to-warm defense...which was my worst fear for this year. it was good to see Tedy Bruschi on the sidelines at least--i'm sure it was eating him up inside not to be out there though. after a shaky (at best) defense for the first half, things picked up a little. i'm breathing a little easier about that. but special teams was pathetic. not sure WHAT was happening there?? my confidence in the offense was validated (of course!!) & the defense seemed to shake off the rusty start. maybe we'll be ok...cause THIS is what i like to see:
TOUCHDOWNS!!
the Patriots are back NFL & they are hungry. there's still a long long way to go but all i have to say right now is 1-0!!
7 with their own thoughts:
You posted that pic of Dillon on purpose didn't you?! lol
yes it was just for you. =P LOL
Awwww, I almost feel special. Except that the pic was of Dillon, in which case I feel unspecial lol.
Is that even a word?
really i just wanted a photo of a New England TD & that's the one i found. it serves its purpose i think. ;-)
Sure, if that's what you're going for lol.
Man, I'm so excited for football! I watched the game last night at work! I was totally rooting for the Patriots because I'm a die hard Broncos fan, which in turn means I'm a die hard Raider hater! Glad to see they won! Woo-hoo!
Have fun when your mom comes to town tomorrow!! :-)
