there's no place like home

thank. God.

the boys are back in Boston tonight.

if i don't hear some Remy & Don, and approximately three hours of "misplaced Rs," i think i may go insane. it has been twelve days since the Sox last played at Fenway. that's almost two weeks, people! combine that with being on the West Coast for the last week, and i am starting to suffer some serious Sox withdrawal!

i've got one of my Sox tees on for luck, and no plans for the entire weekend. let's play some ball!

and also? i'm not talking about what happened in Seattle. i've got nothing to say about... *that*.

i did read something this morning, though, that made me all kinds of happy:
The Boston Red Sox own the best record in baseball, are poised for their first AL East title since 1995, and are built to go deep in the playoffs. And that may not be the best news surrounding the team. The Red Sox are also filthy with prospects throughout their farm system, pitchers and position players alike. (you can the rest of the article for a breakdown of just who all these up-and-coming players are, if you're so inclined.)

and Dan? stop drooling. you can't have 'em. they're mine. mine mine mine, all mine!

I'm an expert on Sox withdrawl. If you need pointers on how to get through... just ask. ;-)
